State Bank of Pakistan Support
This initiative is also in line with the “Banking on Equality Initiative” run by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), which is working to promote women’s inclusion in financial institutions. In this regard, 25 young women from disadvantaged areas of Karachi have been selected and are being empowered through specific workshops, mentoring sessions, and practical training.

Successes of Previous Cohorts
A previous cohort of this program has also been held in Lahore, in which 46 women were trained. Out of these, 42 women completed their internships at Faysal Bank, and surprisingly, more than half of them got jobs at Faysal Bank. This is not only a symbol of women’s empowerment but also a practical achievement of the bank’s vision.
Future Roadmap
Faisal Bank aims to roll out this initiative across additional cities nationwide. For this purpose, the bank is partnering with various community organizations and educational institutions to reach out to deserving and talented women.
