Solar Panel Scheme Distribution Date Announced – Starts June 2025
The Punjab government has clearly stated that the process of distributing solar panels will begin in June 2025 and will be fully distributed among the poor and deserving people by October 2025. Poor and deserving families who have applied for this program and whose application has been approved will be informed through SMS or phone call, and the Punjab government team will go to their homes and install solar systems, and no fee will be charged.

You can apply through any of the following three methods:
1. Online Application
- Visit: cmsolarprogram.punjab.gov.pk
- Enter your CNIC, electricity bill reference number, name, and phone number
- Submit the form and await confirmation
2. SMS Registration
- Apply now by sending your CNIC and bill reference number to 8800 through SMS.
- You’ll receive a message with your eligibility status
3. Bank of Punjab (BOP) Application
- Go to your nearest BOP branch
- Make sure to attach all required documents when submitting your completed application form.
- Submit the form and wait for your confirmation message

- Click on “Check Application Status.”
- Enter your CNIC and bill reference number
- You’ll see the result: Under Review, Approved, Rejected, or Pending Documents

If your application is successful:
- You will be notified via SMS or call when you are eligible for the solar scheme.
- A date and time will be assigned for installation
